How to Make a High Quality Multi-Cavity Preform Mold?

How to make a multi-cavity preform mold? We share with you our own manufacturing experience:

1. The core and cavity of our PET preform mold are made of S136 steel after heat treatment to ensure hardness and life, up to 3 millions of shots.

2. We use advanced heating element hot runner system to speed up the flow of plastic in molten state, save materials, and effectively ensure the quality stability of plastic products.

3. Mineral water bottles, soda carbonated beverage bottles, tea beverage bottles, etc. are all based on quantity, and the number of mold cavities determines the benefit. We can achieve a maximum of 128 cavities.

4. It is very important to save costs for users. The perform mold should be designed to have interchangeable parts, such as screw mouth, gram weight, cavity, core, etc., so that a pair of molds can be replaced with different inserts to achieve a variety of bottle gram weights and shapes. .

5. For the clamping structure, we use a double-cone positioning design, which can avoid defects such as flash, different sizes, and eccentricity after molding.

6. The preform molds are processed with high precision using advanced processing equipment at home and abroad. In addition, equipment such as bridge-type three-coordinate measuring instruments and articulated arm measuring instruments are used to control the precise dimensions of the molds.

7. After the mold is manufactured, we will carry out a series of running inspection tests according to the company’s quality standards, and all the tests can be shipped out after meeting the requirements.

8. We will provide spare parts such as core/cavity inserts, other replaceable mold accessories so that damaged parts can be quickly replaced.
